A modern textile studio dedicated to heirloom quilts, patterns, and the art of intentional making.
The Story
25th & Mag is a Southern California textile studio born from a dual heritage. My creative journey is rooted in the lessons of two women: one grandmother who taught me how to use a sewing machine, and another who was a lifelong artist, teaching me how to see the world through color and composition.
Their influence lives in every stitch I take: a marriage of technical precision and artistic expression. I believe that a quilt is more than a layer of warmth; it is a canvas where traditional heritage meets a modern aesthetic.
The Studio
In 2020, I returned to something new, yet familiar, as a way to find grounding in a changing world. What began as a personal creative outlet quickly evolved into a dedicated studio practice. I found myself drawn to the geometric complexity of quilt design and the unique way fabric can transform a space.
Today, 25th & Mag is focused on creating "modern heirlooms." I design and make every piece from my studio in Southern California, blending time-honored techniques with a clean, contemporary vision that fits into the modern home.
The Philosophy
In a world of mass production, I choose the slow path. Every quilt, pattern, and home good is created with a focus on high-quality materials and thoughtful construction.
I believe the objects we live with should carry meaning. Whether it’s a quilt designed to be passed down through generations or a pattern meant to inspire your own creative journey, each project is approached with the same attention to detail and a deep respect for the craft.
